  1. Then the water rinse was not needed! Remember...whatever product you apply on a wet car you are over diluting it. Just spray your pre soak ONR on the dry car and follow it with the BRS. Dry and be done with it.
  2. I had to look at that Lexus detail after reading Lowejacksons comment. Nice work Guz
  3. That really is a great presentation guide. Unless there is mud or heavy dirt&grime present rinseless will clean perfectly fine. If in doubt PW rinse the car first or spray on APC mixed 1:15 or 1:20, wait a few min and PW rinse it off. After that wash normally with ONR.
  4. There really arent many reviews of this online so yours is really valuble. Again thanks and nice work Guz
  5. Jesus the before and after on the front carpet is amazing! Did you have to repeat or was that one go at the front carpet? Nice work Guz! How much of the product did you use? BTW because of the praise of this product on the podcast I put it on my "to buy" list for 2017. That and some other OPT products.
  6. ...and thank you Ron So basically one good coat followed by opti seal should give me the same durability as 2 coats followed by opti-seal?
  7. Thanks Guz for answering what I wanted to know....BTW I know about the opti-seal trick as its what I do because I dont have a garage to keep the car in.
  8. Is there any benefit from applying 2 coats of gloss-coat? If so, how much time does the first coat need to cure (Im thinking 1h)?
  9. You should...its great! Maybe Ill do a comparison between the two some day but not until summer. As for exterior plastics I was thinking that a great combo would be to use Solution finish to restore the blackness in plastics and after about 24-48h opti seal or gloss coat over it. This combo should work well together.
  10. I'm using Serious performance tire & trim dressing for tires & plastics and Poorboys natural look and Autobrite pink sheen for the inside plastics. Thanks for the suggestion...will consider it once I run out of SP dressing.
  11. Too glossy then ha? Ok then...just asking. As soon as I run out of my current tire and trim dressing (which I like) Ill give opti-bond a try and see the good and the bad of it for myself. Thanks guys.
  12. It probably has been talked about before but can you use Opti bond as a interior plastic dressing? If so at what dilution? The same question goes for exterior plastic&rubber bits! Does it offer any water repellency?
  13. A bit of a daft question but...Gloss coat instructions say to apply it after polishing with hyper polish...But is Intensive polish also as compatible as Hyper polish? Im 99% certain it is but I just gotta ask!
  14. So what was the old Opti coat 2.0 based on?
  15. Is Gloss coat Sio2 based formula or SiC? Ive read somewhere its SiO2 and Opti coat pro is SiC. Is that true?
  16. Some good information on how to apply Gloss-coat
  17. This was probarbly answered somewhere but again...What is the difference between GPS and Poli-seal. Both are supose to be "cleaner waxes" but which is more agressive? Do they contain the same sealant? Has anyone tested the durability side by side? Which lasts longer without being toped with wax?
  18. I always like episodes with Dr. G "in da house" talking about OPT products, giving lots of information about them and best ways to use them. The one about Opti-coat is epic. There are lots of OPT products to talk about so maybe go into that direction a bit. For instance I just read that Paint prep contains the same catalyst that Primer Polish has, so it will help with coating leveling and bonding. That info was somehow kept a secret to the public. I wonder how many uses and secret tricks other products have. Great podcast btw ... I always like listening to it.
  19. The voice and sence of humour of Dann Williams always reminded me of someone...and up until now I never could put my finger on who he reminded me off till I remembered it was Steve-O from Jackass lol Anyone else see the resemblance? Great podcast...you really get loads of info on OPT products in every show.
  20. Great Thanks for all the info!
  21. Lowejackson and some others gave me an idea to apply a carnaube wax after applying Gloss coat. So could I apply OCW on top of Gloss coat after application to shield it from the enviroment and to give it time to cure properly? How long would I have to wait to apply it (an hour, maybe more)? Or should I go with another carnauba paste wax?
