  1. Its not really an issue in performence. Its just a visual thing. Lime i said a onr wet towel will remove those spots. Another option of application is to apply it it on a onr wet panel with a onr wet mf applicator. Spray ocw on the applicator and spread it on the wetvpanel. Once you spread it wipe it dry.
  2. Surfex is caustic and if you get in on your hands you feel a slight burn on the skin. The only reason i said i bought surfex was coz its cheaper in a gallon and more cost effective. Its a great versatile degreaser that can be diluted down to 4% for paintwork or stronger for wharever else. Through my short experience i still feel opc is a better cleaning product but I just cant get it anymore in my country. I would love to but i cant. Thats why i have to settle for other products.
  3. yeah I had an old bottle of OCW as well back then
  4. Nice test and thanks for your findings...Ive used Power clean in the past and its a awesome product but its very limited here where I am...plus its too expensive to buy and use on a regular basis...I rather use Bilt hamber surfex (bought a gallon for like 20 euros). A good alternative was also Britemax Grime out but that too was used up too fast and its not on stock here anymore. Infact I had to import a gallon ammount of ONR just to have it for myself for a years worth of washing. I waited like 4 months for my local dealer to re-supply...After that Ill have to probably order from The rag company EU directly. LOL...I derailed the topic way off track πŸ˜‚
  5. ehm...I have a new bottle of OCW and I spray it on a mf applicator and spread it like I would a wax and buff off immediately. I dont have those spot issues this time...maybe this helps...I dont know Shake the bottle and dont apply it on a hot panel...keep it cool!
  6. Ive had the same issue before...I look at it as carnauba build up spots...they can get wiped off if you wipe them with a ONR wet towel
  7. When I said opti seal can be used as a protectant I meant I meant I used it for exterior and interior plastics and leather. I never used it on tires and I dont intend to.
  8. I was thinking the same...other then that ONR will clean the black plastics I dont really see ONR doing much else. Its not a dressing. Now Im not just saying this without trying it. I did use ONR today on some black plastics. I used it neat on a mf applicator and "dressed" the plastics and other then that it just cleaned it I diddnt see it do anything much to plastics...no blackening, no difference whatsoever. It looked stock as I expected it to be in the first place. Opti seal on the other hand can be used as a protectant. That leaves behind a protected slick antistatic surface that actually beads water quite nicely.
  9. probably yes but you will need a ton of it...its better to use free flowing water
  10. Yeah he did say later he remembers he used that applicator before so it was contaminated. Thanks Ron.
  11. This is an issue from another forum...maybe OPT staff can help. Bit of an issue with this product on first use. Has anyone used it & had an issue like this? Tyres were absolutely spotless, scrubbed thoroughly then aggressively rubbed with a MF towel twice to pull all the dirt out the pores of the rubber. Was ok after the first layer which I allowed to cure around 45 mins. Followed up with a 2nd for more gloss & this happened. Totally ruined the tyres
  12. I think Yvan once showed to leave ONR on the surface before you hit it with MDR. That will make it spread easier.
  13. I doubt that is true solely because you would dilute MDR way too much for it to be effective.
  14. guz I think thats the case with any LSP if you mix and match manufacturers...OPT are just saying it loud because they can not guarantee durability if you use other polishes which may or may not contain fillers. OPT is certain their polishes do not contain fillers thats why whey recommend to stick within the manufacturer line. I always suggest that too...for instance some people polish with Menzerna but use Gyeon prep afterwards. Who is to say that all the polish has been removed. You cant be 100% sure!!!
  15. Intensive polish is a great combination of cut and finish...of course that doesnt come to affect if you are using it by hand but still...its a very nice polish.
  16. It might be a good idea to ask around at Griots on how well their Paint Prep works and if it really does remove all of the BOSS Fast Correcting Cream . In all likelihood they will just say yes πŸ˜„ but ask them if the paint prep is specially formulated to remove their polishes and if its been tested and proven.
  17. I think its ok... Unless it holds a lot of moisture then I think youll be fine
  18. You are welcome. I use I can regarding OPT...Soap is used mainly for wheels and maybe once a year on the car just to remind myself that ONR is easier and faster to use 😁
  19. Car wash can get sort of weird and yes yello like if it sits for too long or gets exposed to low temperatures...once the temps get back to normal the soap will get back to normal as well...Also shake it up before use. And yes the soap foams a lot and the foam can stay on the ground for hours...sometimes for a day. Its still a very nice soap to use.

    Its looking nice Habs πŸ‘
  21. Opti seal can be also used to remove finger smudges off the info screen & protect at the same time. Its also good to protect plastics. You can cleand them with onr, opti clean or what Ron said
  22. If you pre-cleaned it with Ferrex that would probably be sufficient enough...but no harm in using Opti-clean as a drying aid on wheels... Your method would probably work just fine.
  23. Chemical guys and carpro echo I just disliked....ONR just works...enough said
  24. And as for rinseless washes I did try out a lot a few years back and did a review about them on detail world. There is certanly a few I liked and a few i disliked but I keep coming back to ONR and I am done with others. I did however like surf city garage rinse free water saver a lot...not the pro version but the other one...the blue/greenish one in the bigger bottle.
  25. It was weird to say the least when I watched Yvan presenting the new 5in1 polisher at Mike Phillips and using standard paste polishes...he used a few dots (very small) when the entire emphasys at OPT was how the spray version coveres the entire pad to not create hot spots. I know it was just a commercial but still. Like Setec said...he will soon lose all credibility.
