They are very different products.  Carpet & Fabric is concentrated, normal dilution is 1:3.  Diluted 1:1, Carpet & Fabric strength is comparable to Interior Cleaner.  Other differences, Carpet & Fabric contains coating for protection and comes in different sizes (8 oz, 32 oz, Gal), Interior comes Ready to Use in 17 oz and gallons. Interior Cleaner is part of Optimum's strategy to provide RTU products with single functions for efficiency.  FYI, Interior is less expensive as well.

You might wanna try a OPT waterless and UItra ceramic seal combo next time. I bet it will give more gloss.

Back in the day, I stumbled across a YouTube video for Meguiar's Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax. Since I had to park on the street with no access to water, this started my new hobby of detailing my car at home. I eventually moved over to rinseless as my primary method of washing my car which led to ONR and Optimum products. I recently decided to try Opti-Clean for my wheels and for a light wash mid week when the car wasn't too dirty. I am beyond thrilled with the ease of use and gloss on the car. Love it!

Thank you @A&J and @Ron@Optimum for the clarification. You both make great points. My drying towel (or towels) are usually pretty saturated. My first bottle of OPP came in the mail- I'm excited to try this trick on the interior of my new car.
    Thanks!!!!

Just FYI...Ive switched to P&S Absolute lately...not because I wanted to but because I cant get ahold of OPT stuff in my country anymore and I have to use alternatives now...
Now just my opinion (not to influence anyone) I miss ONR...Absolute isnt nearly as good as ONR...It doesnt mix well with water, its not potent enough, it doesnt smell pleasant (personal thing, but I like the blueberrie smell ONR has more then the coconut lime that Absolute has). It does clean the car streak free at the end Ill give it that but its nothing special or a miracle wonder product it was first highlighed to be. Media hype really does create wonders out of thin air.
So people...If you are having doubts dont! Stick with your ONR and forget about Absolute. In my opinion Absolute is not even in the same league as ONR, but way under. Its nothing special.

I’ve used Absolute (ARW) for one wash. The product itself is very viscous and needs to be shaken vigorously before pouring. When poured into a bucket of water it wants to clump together and not evenly distribute. It requires significant agitation to evenly mix where you can simply swirl the bucket with ONR to get an even suspension.

The experience when actually using ARW is virtually identical to ONR. If used in a blinded fashion where color and smell were removed I wouldn’t be able to tell you which product was which. There might be a slight edge in slickness to ARW but that might be due to bias introduced from marketing that I’ve seen. A lot of discussion was had around water spots. My tap water is approximately 150 ppm. I observed no difference in water softening ability when used in direct sunlight and allowed to dry. Both products performed excellently and left no spots that weren’t easily removed after re-wetting the panel.

I did a similar test that @Redgrandam performed. I diluted 2 oz of each product (ONR and ARW) in 1 gallon of water. I have approximately 2 oz of dirt in each container. First photo is immediately after shaking. Each subsequent photo is taken at approximately 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, then 5 minutes after shaking. ARW appeared to drop dirt with slightly greater velocity and reached steady state just before ONR. I don’t feel like these observations can be used to draw any conclusions from this simple test as there are too many variables that haven’t been controlled for. If I switched the containers then I might have observed the opposite for just one example.

I think ARW is the first product to reach parity with ONR. After initial impressions, I will continue to favor ONRWW as my preferred rinseless wash for maintenance washes. I plan on rotating between ONRWW and ARW until I use ARW up.

It took me a long ass time to buy GPS after owning the entire Hyper collection + poli-seal.
GPS was the last piece that was missing in my collection and once I saw that my car stuff supplier put a 40% discount on it I pulled the trigger and bought it for a measly 15 euros 😜
Anyways...yesterday I took my time, washed the car with ONR, clayed with a clay towel and used a iron remover as a lubricant and then went into action and polished my "not so new anymore used car". Its white so it hides swirls well and I havent gotten around to remove them yet until now.
I used GPS on a mf cutting pad and on some areas a CG green hex logic pad. The polish was great...its nice to work with and by my estiment it removed around 65% of the swirls and cleaned up the paint really well. It left behind a really shinny and slick surface on its own. It actually made white paint reflect like glass which doesnt happen often. I did however later top it with Wowos crystal sealant just for the sake of it.

    1)  Should I use GPS after Hyper Polish to enhance the gloss before using Gloss Coat?
No dont use GPS if you want to apply Gloss coat. GPS has some built in protection that will interfere with Gloss coat bonding to the paint. Hyper polish alone gives some mad gloss on its on. Also I would suggest you buy and use some OPT paint prep before you apply the coating.
    2) Can you use their spray car wax occasionally to enhance gloss & UV protection over Gloss Coat?
Yes ofcourse. OCW, opti-seal or hyper seal are all good ontop of Gloss coat.
    3) What can you use to prolong the Gloss Coat's protection?  Just Opti Seal or other products like the detail spray etc?
If you get the newest version of opti-seal its got some SiO2 protection built in so thats good for topping up...the old version is fine as well. Opti coat hyper seal is also another option for a topper.
    4) Is it OK to use their car wash when necessary or will it hurt the gloss coat?
Yes its perfectly fine. OPT synergy remember!

The car will get contaminated with iron particles over time so I also advise you use Ferrex & clay towel every 6 months. So basically wash, spray ferrex liberarly, use a clay towel to spread ferrex around the car, rinse the car after a few minutes and use some sort of protection product to dry and protect your paint.

I decided to give N914 another shot for fairness, and because I spent $20 on it.
once again reaffirmed this is a much better multi-purpose cleaner (think APC with no degreasing power) than anything else.

I washed a big ol Ram big cab truck last night with it. it lays super flat on the paint, and when you go to dry, even with a drying aid it just kinda absorbs the “puddle” of water but leaves so much on the surface. Even with a twist loop towel. Honestly don’t understand how others have so much success with it. OH! And it’s supposed to be this fantastic “cleaner” rinseless that cleans the panel waaay better than ONR, but I have been washing with ONR for almost a year now and rarely do I see dirt on my drying towel if I presoak the panel before washing. There was an uncomfortable amount of dirt on my towel, like I’ve never seen. It looked like i hadn’t even washed the panel!

Meanwhile ONR never lets me down. It dries SUPER fast, even with no drying aid or vehicle protection, and makes for a faster more efficient cleaner. And the way it beads on the surface and visually encapsulates the dirt gives me peace of mind. While N914 sits flat on the panel like it was rinsed with just water. Won’t be trying that experiment again.
Just because ONR isn’t the newest shiniest wash out there, doesn’t mean it’s still not the king of Rinseless washing.

Yeah it sure is, Ron! It cuts like crazy and you need to take care removing the micro-marring. I used it on this wreck of a car today:

    It had very soft and completely destroyed paint. I then took it a step further and wrecked it some more with an abused clay cloth. Hyper Compound with the Hyper Wool and Rupes Blue wool pad on the Zentool 21e2 cleaned it up amazingly well though;

    Then with the Orange Waffle pad or the Rupes yellow foam pad and Hyper Polish, I could just about get it marring-free. I had to be thorough with the Hyper Polish, but the results were;

Awesome! (It's still an ugly car with trashed paint, but some bits look good!) As you can see in the last picture, there is still some micro-marring. This is because I wasn't consistent enough with my finishing polishing on that door and didn't polish that bit enough.

A&J got a reaction from Ron@Optimum in Power Clean & ONR = interior cleaner?
I dont see the point mixing Power clean with ONR...that mix IMO wont bring anything to the table. If it was me I would keep it seperated and use either:
    - ONR at 256/1 (or at standard wash solution) dampened MF towel after wash and just wipe off all the interior plastic and leather bits and then use a 2nd dry mf towel to dry. Do that every other week or so to keep the dust buildup away.
    - Opti-clean to remove some buildup dirt that ONR wont remove.
    - Power clean at 5-10% mix to clean really dirty interior. Spray on, brush and wipe off the residue. After that Id still wipe everything again with a ONR damp towel to remove PC residue off the plastics and rubber parts.

And since the Hyper Compound has been fixed, I decided to do a little 2-step correction and comparison.
The car is a 93' Volvo 240 station, so lots of paint to cover! I used Hyper Compound with the Zentool 21e2 and the ShineMate EX620 6/21, with Rupes Blue wool and Optimum Hyper Wool pad. Leaving the compound residue, I then polished with the FLEX PE 14-1 180, a 3M Black Finishing Waffle pad and Hyper Polish. Wipe off with ONR damp towel, and dried with TRC Twist 'n Shout. Gave a good cut and a great finish on this hard paint, I might add some photos later.
I compared it to Sonax Cutmax, which is an awesome compound. No dusting, easy wipe-off great results. It had considerably less cut compared to Hyper Compound but a great finish. It didn't require a refining step on this paint.
I then applied Opti-Seal, left it to cure for three hours and wrapped it all up with Optimum Car Wax. Great beading and sheeting action!
