  1. I am using optimum instant detailer as a drying aid nice gloss every third wash I use the ceramic wax . Then I squeeze in some hyper seal some were in there for the protection.
  2. Sounds good I was mixing optimum car soap with power clean to get the power clean to cling to the wheel especially in the barrel. Don't see it at carzilla yet
  3. The only product that optimum makes that i dont like is this sponge . I just like microfibers I can see the dirt I am picking up when dirty I just use another clean one to me it's just foolproof and the microfiber gets into small areas. One good thing about the sponge is it holds a lot of liquid if you just want to soak the paint with onr . To get that heave dirt and salt off I can get alot off with my pressurized pro 12 ik filled with onr. If I was doing mobile detailing i would have two of these. One filled with water to rinse another with onr. I have a small 12volt compressor that would easily pump these up to 60psi. If there is no water then I would bring them filled even with warm water. Hmm got me thinking.
  4. I just washed my car yesterday has been to cold and wet the last couple of weeks so the paint was nasty. I used my ik pro 12 sprayer with onr you can pressurize this thing to 60 psi . Sprayed the hole car then rinsed I got maybe half the dirt off. Another layer of onr then washed with microfiber wash mitts. Oid as drying aid the temperature was maybe 1c work great .
  5. Great welcome Another detailer gone to the dark side Ron lol. I went from optimum car soap to onr right away and have loved it. About 5 years now. Get the gloss coat on the car and all the other optimum products just look and perform better. My list Gloss coat great protection and gloss Onr a must Hyperseal protection love it The new ceramic wax goes on even at 4c so does hyperseal I just rotate through these products as a drying aid .

Hi tak I think I have used just about everything optimum has as a drying aid . Hyperseal I believe will give you the best protection and ontop of my glosscoat on silver metalic paint i get a more mirror like shine. I also use The new ceramic ultra wax is more of a wet look. Economy wise I think the instant detailed is really the best. Of course I pile all of it on top of each other lol. I like to get a couple of coats of hyperseal on before the winter sets in for the protection. Have fun .
  8. Thanks Ron Ya it was the foamer just didn't mix well a little onr in hot water and used microfiber to spread it around then microfiber to pick it up looks like new. Next time will go back to spray bottle.
  9. Hi. Decided to give my car seats a good wash. They looked great when they were still wet but after they dried there was a lot of white blochy spots looks like dried product . My method Vacume Steam them Used optimum air foamer at 1 to 3. Really I could not get it to foam . Steam and scrubbed then wiped with microfiber. Maybe steam again and wipe?
  10. Sorry Yes i also like onrww makes a great drying aid. I mix a little wax with it in a weed sprayer use this after a onr wash .
  11. I just received my order of optimum products from carzilla in Calgary my onr says its v5.
  12. I remember drying before glosscoating . it was a big job two or three soaked towels. Now it's one waffle weave towel to dry with a drying aid . When doing my contact wash i really soak the car with a microfiber wash mitt in onr splashing it every wear ( keeping my practice of using lots of product lol) the extra onr just rolls of the car theres really nothing left to dry now I can use this saved time to use more products and lots of it . My list of drying aids are wax ,hyperseal, and now I will be using instant detailer and ultra ceramic wax every other wash. Applying glosscoat is alot of work but its wort it washing the car is easier and a glossy shine A onr wash on top of glosscoat is almost scratch proof hope this helps.
  13. Just got my new order of optimum products today including ceramic wax. Last week I did a Decontaminating wash with power clean and mdr then onr wash to get the paint clean to the glosscoat and then hyperseal as a drying aid. My method is a little squirt on the wet panel dry the area then add more with a foam and microfiber pad in the dry area and buff with soft microfiber just to get a good coat on (this also keeps up with me using to much product and over kill lol). It leaves a very mirror Like finish. Then today I did a onr wash and used the same method with the ultra wax ( more over kill protection on top of protection great) i did not get a sprayed for this for some reason I used one from the regular wax worked perfect its a little thicker than the regular stuff and I had to buff it a little could not be from using to much must have been the cold lol. It was about 8c and the sun was on the car. Ok now what does it look like. Compared to the hyperseal mirror like finish it gives a little more of a wet look . My Honda element is silver metalic. I really like the product I am hoping it will last longer than the regular wax .
  14. Buy rinsing off onr you are defeating the hole purpose of this product the idea is to dry the car with onr on the paint to stop from scratching the paint and the protection of the onr . You can use a drying aid like optimum spray wax ,hyperseal, that's what I do . Even with out a drying aid I have not put a scratch in my car in 6 years of using these products. My car is glosscoat I strongly recommend it.
