Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant

27 posts in this topic

Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant is a new, revolutionary product that not only cleans textile surfaces, but protects them at the same time!

Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant is a concentrate that you dilute 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate for most applications, or use at full strength for tough stains.

Use it to clean greasy dirt and grime from fabric seats or carpets and mats. Spray directly onto surface and agitate. Wipe off excess with a microfiber cloth. For more intense cleaning use a steam or extractor machine. While cleaning, Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant leaves a polymetric protectant behind that repels dust and dirt.

Most cleaners contain surfactants that leave oily residue that attracts dirt and grime causing dirt build up. Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner & Protectant contains substantive polymers that trap and remove dirt and grime while bonding to the surface to protect it.

Boy you're really catching up on everything! I'm not even sure I got to use mine yet...but since it was snowing yesterday here I should probably pull the carpet mats out of my car and switch to the all-season ones, and try this stuff out on the carpet mats.

I have various fabrics treated with 303, Scotch guard, and HD fabric protectors. Will the Optimum cleaner chemistry play nice with these existing protectors, or do they need to be removed first?

Thanks.

Ron, the suggestion to use an extractor or steam cleaner if required, what would be the best way to use these machines e.g. is the solution added to the steam machine or applied to carpet and then steamed

I see I've missed several questions on Carpet C & P:

- yes, you can use Carpet to neutralize Power Clean and add protection to fabric

- I don't think it will hurt leather and might clean it, but it's formulated for fabric

- you can add Carpet C & P into steam cleaners for best deep cleaning, or spray onto the surface.

A personal demonstration of Carpet & Fabric Cleaner and Protectant

When Optimum moved into our new facility, we had a pro cleaner do the carpets using their own products. After a remodel, we had them come again, but use Carper & Fabric C & P in their steamers - the results were SIGNIFICANTLY better with Optimum (and they now buy product from us). FYI

Thanks Ron. Actually I was thinking about using this on my house carpet rather than anything car related but then I discovered no one sells CFCP (not a great acronym) in the UK. I do love the idea it can safely be used in a steamer. I wonder how well CFCP would work in cleaning work suits

Edit. Forgot to suggest someone makes a video of CFCP showing how effective it is and tips for getting the best from it

.....and whilst I am asking strange questions.....could CFCP be used in an iron so that instead of washing, just iron a shirt?

Since it's safe in a steamer and cleans fabric, stands to reason it would work in an iron. I can pretty much guarantee Dr G has not tested it that way...
