Ramu
I have seen a post detailing about bug etching and the way detailer has dealt with it. Glad to see the customer care aspect. Now, I dont have a dealer who can do OptiCoat Pro for me, I need to drive all way 400miles and should drive back home. Now i am worried if this bug etching may come in my way as well. Is it recommended to avoid long drive after a day or two of applying Opti Coat Pro? or are there any alternative solutions to not get into this loop of re-applying the coat for my new car? Ron@Optimum
You should ask your dealer to apply a coat of Opti-Seal after coating (1 hour). Opti-Seal will act as a sacrificial barrier while the OCP cures (7 days). After cured, OCP should not etch.
