No Soap Posted May 27, 2020 Share Posted May 27, 2020 I've used mine for 1,5 years and the color comes back after some APC wash. It doesn't like registration plates but when I noticed that right at the beginning, it is like new. It lives in ONR, 1 month between changing the water and I'm not washing with that solution. Ron@Optimum Posted May 27, 2020 Share Posted May 27, 2020 there is no answer to this, it varies greatly. My first BRS was a prototype and I abused it, got 2 years from it. My second is 4 years old and is now a multipurpose sponge (junk jobs). My BGS (Big Gold Sponge) is 1 year old and good to go. A lot depends on how careful you are - early on I was careless and snagged the sponges, causing them to fall apart prematurely. The color has nothing to do with performance.
