Jesone430
Hi guys. Can I use no rinse to clean my satin vinyl wrap ? Any suggestions to help me protect it? Thanks a million.
Ron@Optimum
Welcome - No Rinse works well with wraps. Consider Gloss-Coat for serious long term protection (or Opti-Coat Pro for the ultimate). Coatings work well with all invisible films/wraps.
Jesone430
Thanks Ron. Any feedback yet on optimum wash and wax on a satin wrap? Swissvax has a product that waxes w very little carnuba Will it streak on my wrap if I use the wax version of onr? I have been an optimum product user and fan since 2007
Ron@Optimum
Have never heard of any issues with ONR + Wax on vinyl. The actual wax content is low and the only way you should get streaking is if you're mixing too strong. Even then it wipes off easily with a damp microfiber. outdoor_funguy
When Gatorwraps wrapped my car they sent me this PDF for caring for your vehicle wrap but it doesn't mention anything about no rinse? I'm not sure if its safe.
Ron@Optimum
No Rinse is safe to use on any wrap or film. The products they mention, 3M soap, and Meguiars, are their own brands. Any quality car soap can be used.
Jesone430
Thanks guys. I tried onr and I leaves a nice Full sheen. I use jetseal matte from chemical guys as extra protection beads nicely.
