What is the best technique for applying OCW by DA , i.e amount to apply to pad, speed of machine and how long to work it.
Also what would be the best pad; I have a Sonus red finishing pad and a Lake Country gold finishing pad.

there's no real benefit to applying by machine. Spritz the panel, spread evenly, flip towel over and buff to a shine. NO flash time, NO waiting...only use light pressure. If you need surface prep, use clay and/or Poliseal first for more slickness if needed.

The main benefit using a polisher to apply OCW is the burnishing effect it allows which may give the carnauba portion of OCW a boost in gloss.
The softer pads work well for this technique which is to spray the OCW on the paint and then begin the polishing action.
Hope that helps,
Anthony

Thanks. I tried it today using my LC gold finishing pad and it did seem to add a bit extra gloss
