I have the chance to try out the new version of ONR today. My findings are:
1) Better lubricity. Not only can you feel the wash media slide over the surface better, but if you have to increase pressure to remove tougher grim, the stuff gets even slicker. This makes me think that it's even safer than it was before and I wasn't having any trouble with the old version.
2)Gloss improvement. The improvement is noticeable even to the untrained eye. I wouldn't say it looks like you've applied OCW, but at least close to applying a QD.
3)Cleans better/easier. I know this hasn't been mentioned on the other forums, but I actually noticed an improvement in the effort/#of passes needed to get the panel clean. Sometimes in the past I've had to hit some spots with APC to get the dirt off (and I may still have to, sometimes), but I do thinks something has improved the cleaning ability. Future washes will confirm this
4)Mulberry scent. At first I didn't like the new scent. It smells very strong in the gallon, but is nice in the bucket. After washin 3-4 cars, it's growing on me. I kept getting these little whiffs that actually improved my mood. Kinda nice to have aroma therapy while you detail. The old one just smelled clean and I really liked it. Smell is subjective anyway.

Overall, I am very pleased that we didn't have to sacrifice any of the things we loved about ONR to gain some improvements. It's a winner.

I've been very pleased with the new ONR as well. The improvement in gloss is quite noticeable, one customer thought I'd already waxed her Escalade after using the new ONR on it. Typically, when applying Opti-Seal over ONR, you can really see the difference, with the new version, not so much. The only drawback I can see at all is that customers won't think their vehicles need to be waxed after seeing how they look after an ONR wash.

I really can't wait to try this new stuff. Too bad I just bought a gallon of the old type. That gallon will last me months and months to almost a year. :thumbsupup[1]:
Oh well...

I look forward to trying the new version as I'm already a big fan of the first one.

I don't know if the new one has found it's way to UK yet :groupwave[1]: . Does anyone know if it's been shipped over yet?
