Opti-seal over a glaze

The glaze in question is the residue left over from using Meguiars deep crystal cleaner or Mothers cleaner both of these will leave a residue; so will Opti-Seal bond to this or would I need to use Optimum spray wax first which would most likely bond to it then opti-seal.

Although I have no experience with the Meguiars products you've used, I've used OS over several products (Klasse AIO and SG, Danase Acrylic Wet Glaze, and Carnaubas) and have had no bonding issues. The ability to use it over a variety of prep products or previous LSP's is one of the reasons that I've been happy w/ OS... FWIW

I use OS over CG wet mirror finish with no issues at all.
