Well after much debate I decided to do my first C&B. I haven't posted one before because I thought of it as, well, bragging, but lately I realized that it shows people what they can achieve and I'm proud of the products I've been using so it's kind of a thank you to the manufacturers.

Here's the process:
1) Wheels-Scott's Wheel Brite
Tires-BleechWhite
Wells-Autobrite APC
2)Gilmore Foamgum and GS wash with TOTL Bubble Bath
Blow-dry with ShopVac Leaf Blower
3)Light Claying on front, roof, mirrors, and lower panels-3m Perfect It Blue Clay
7424 & LC CCS Yellow-Ardex SmartCut-2x
7424 & LC CCS White-PoliSeal-1x
OCW 2.0-1x
4)Wells & Tires-OptiBond (2:1) via. Wagner Control Sprayer
5)Vacuum and LGM Mats after soaking in Scott's B1 Upholtery APC(32:1)
Wipe down seats and panels with B1(32:1)
Windows-Sprayaway Aerosol
6)Dress Exterior Trim-HiTemp Bumper and Molding Renew

ENJOY!

Very nice work Chris. I really like the look of the tires, I might have to pick up some of the OptiBond and a sprayer.

Thanks Ron. The guy was giddy when he picked it up; he wasn't expecting that much improvemenst based on past experiences with the local talent. I also informed him about the bed being repainted. The left side of the bed was SS, but the right was CC but had a very obvious run. Funny thing is: he bought it new and hadn't had paintwork!!! How'd the Cayenne come out? Did you say it was red? Post it if you took pics! How'd you like the look of OB at 2:1?

Thanks Paul, that means a lot to me coming from the guys on this forum; there's a lot of quality detailers on here. I'm telling you the sprayer and OB isn't even work, it's fast, fun to do, and looks fantastic. The tires were shot 1x then moved the truck forward and shot the dry spot. I mixed OB 2 parts distilled water, 1 part OB. that means gallon makes three and the gun application saves a ton of product over trigger sprayer or pad, I love it!

Thanks! I'll keep on posting 'em. Ardex is killer except for the dust, I can get really good cut from the 7424 and didn't feel like the 7428 today.

It may be awhile, but I definately will! You just might learn somthing, hehe. I'd be glad to assist; God knows I owe you for all your help you've been to me! I'll just get OB all over everything with my Wagner, lol. :)

Nice Job on the Tundra. In your experience how long does the Bumper & Molding Renew last for? I purchased it earlier this winter but the weather has still been too dang cold to consider using it on the Cherokee.

EDIT- Nevermind, re-read your post :thumbsupup[1]:

I used it on my cowl 5 weeks ago and it still looks like I just put it on today! I'm thinking it'll last at least 3-4 months.

Do you use GR-40 to clean the trim first?

I have GR40 but I haven't found how to use it correctly yet. It gets off fresh wax and compound, but there was some old wax on the truck above that I couldn't remove with it and the HT B&MR hid it really well. To answer your question, I did not use it on my cowl b/c I had no wax to remove; it was just faded/sun-bleached. I didn't realize how bad it looked until I put the B&MR on it, then WOW! No prep at all other than washing.

For dull or bleached out looking trim try the Gr-40 with a eraser pad. Most of the trim on my details I rarely dress but just clean with Gr-40 and leave it as is.

Nice idea, I'll give that a shot too.
