I recently got the polish on a BOGO offer. I have two white cars (98 and 200) that seem resistant to scratch removal (or my technique). Would the first gen polish be enough to take them out, or do I need compound or ultra-compound? They are the typical scratches in the clear coat, not deep scratches.

As with all things, there's no magic bullet. You will need to try various pad and product combos on a test panel. Then when results are satisfactory, complete the remaining panels.
