  1. 6.5 inch mf & hydrotech pads, 7.5 ccs pad
  2. finally did my new car: washed, speedy prep, opt finish, poli-seal, and finally opti-seal. turned out fantastic. However, i encountered problem with the opt finish polish. used a rotary at low speed, first a brand new mf pad which i primed with qd and 4 dots of FP, it was very "grabby/tacky". my rotary was heating up. changed to a brand new hydrotech finishing pad, same thing. Changed to a gray ccs pad still the same. So i decided to do it by hand which turned out ok. Then applied poli-seal by rotary with no problems. I have almost all the opt products and find them all excellent products, except for the opt finish which frustrates me. what is going on wrong?

  4. opti-seal on carpets?

how do i apply opti-seal on carpets? read somewhere that it works on carpets. what are the benefits?
  5. just got a brand new car and opti-seal for it. so after washing and claying, i'm thinking of applying finish polish with a mf pad. is this ok? or should i use a finishing foam pad?
  6. opti-seal on new car

thanks a lot man. can't wait for the weekend
  7. opti-seal on new car

getting back to opti-seal, i am thinking of using optimum finish (after washing and claying) before opti-seal. what do you think? i think optimum compound II would be too abrasive on the new paint. if i'm on the right path, maybe poli-seal before optimum finish? Got the new car already and it's telling me to "get it on".
  8. opti-seal on new car

thanks for the advice. now i'm intrigued about opti-coat. However, i'm spprehensive to use opti-coat since i read somewhere here that it should be applied by pros.
  9. opti-seal on new car

recently got opti-seal for a brand new car i am getting in 2 days. Read somewhere here that cars have to be washed, clayed, & polished before applying opti-seal. does this apply to brand-new cars as well?
