beetlevw72
So, I just had my front bumper cover, passenger side fender and passenger door repainted thanks to a moron trying to pass me on the shoulder. Anyway, I HATE having unprotected panels. I have Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 on the rest of the car but those panels that were repainted were bare and driving me nuts. Well, imagine my delight when I found out that ONR can be used on freshly painted panels without causing problems with outgassing! I went out after work today and washed down those panels. So now they have some protection! Hooray! I know it's not a huge amount but something is better than nothing. All of this makes me wonder though, how do the soy based polymers in ONR not cause issues with the curing compared to the silicon base polymers? beetlevw72
I could tell you, but then i'd have to kill you. Hmm, decisions, decisions. I could always create ONR in the afterlife then...
beetlevw72
Thanks Chris. That actually makes a lot of sense. I'm going to recommend ONR to my body shop when I go back up there to get a clear coat run fixed. It could make their job that much easier.
