On a scale of one to ten how abrasive is Polyseal ; I am gueesing about two or three.

will this work by hand as most products like this do not you need a Porter house polisher or rotary.

I am looking ro remove light marring swirls more importantly not putting any new ones in.

Think of PoliSeal at half the cut of Optimum Polish.

It can be used by hand but you'll get far better results if you have a polisher, either an orbital or a rotary. PoliSeal was designed with orbital and hand application in mind. You want remove heavier marring but it should work well with very light marring by hand.

When used correctly it should not introduce any more scratches.
