Extreme makeover: Suzuki Swift sedan

Thought I share:

 

Typical daily driver, fully unprotected; around 100k miles. Extreme oxidation and bonded contamination.

 

Process:

- straight APC wash

- rinse

- foam gun wash

- clay while foam dwelling

- rinse

- OHC (old formula) wool/yellow/orange, rotary up to 1800 RPMs

- HTEC for tougher spots, rotary up to 2200 RPMs

- OP white/black, rotary, 1400-1200 RPMs

- Megs #21, DA, speed 4

- OCW by hand

 

- engine degreased, rinsed, then dressed with AA foam

- underhood paint areas & door jambs protected with OCW

- plastics & tires dressed with Carlack Plasti-Care

Thanks for the nice words guys! Well, it is the driveway of the neighbor opposite of us. It is a small street with 130-150 year old civic houses. Really stable old buildings with 80-100 cm thick walls. I'll post pics of our house.
