JCVB Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 My dad has a kit car and the builder painted the vehicle with gel coat, can I use the Opti-coat 2.0 on it and will achieve the same durability as on a base coat clear coat paint? My concern is if you dont use the right products on gel coat, the gel coat will yellow over time. The car is white, so yellowing would be more noticeable.
