I've never really measured, but I bet I use less than 1oz per car. A little goes a long way.

Never really counted but Ive been using it for the past year to add some protection after wash every month there is still some left. I am guessing but I will say 15+ applications should be a realistic number assuming you are using it sparingly.

Is there any danger if I dont remove the excess fast enough?

No danger, only streaks. Assuming you are using one spray per panel on a cool panel then simply apply and buff. OCW is not a fussy product, it does not give you several seconds to buff or bad things will happen. Once it is applied to the panel, start the buffing. Actually the word buffing can indicate using lots of energy, maybe it is better to say give the panel a light swipes with the cloth
