Linustam
Hi Sir, We have a matte silver colour car which need to be coated with OPT. However, we want to know which OPT coating is best for this type of paint. Can Pro and Pro+ use at the same time?
Ron@Optimum
Opti-Coat Pro is a 1 step coating with a 5 year warranty, Pro Plus adds a second step for improved gloss/slickness and has a 7 year warranty. Either is great on a matte silver car.
BradB
Let me dredge up this old post..... Given this logic, can I assume that Optimum Gloss Coat will also work on matte paint? I have a motorcycle that I need to coat, it’s matte black. I’m not too concerned if I add a little shine, as long as it’s consistent. I just wanted to be sure I was heading down the right (safe) path. Thanks for any help. As an aside: Geez, it’s been ages since I dropped in. I guess when everything is working well we are all happy and silent. I just recoated two of my cars in Gloss Coat. It’s been a bit over 2 years. The durability is impressive. Ron@Optimum
Yes, you can apply Gloss-Coat to matte finishes - has been done many times. Not surprised your ceramic is holding up - Optimum motto "under promise and over deliver".
