My formula for fantastic Quick Detailer

Recommended Posts

Yep...the wash media during the wash feels slicker, water sheets off faster, there is less of it to wipe off, you wash and protect as you go...I mean its a win-win situation.

I agree totally. I haven't tried dumping in a little bit of opti-seal yet but I may try that this weekend. This stuff brings out my "Mad Scientist" side.

Jim...you know just today I managed to mix your QD and OCW formula together and was thinking about adding opti-seal myself. I didnt in the end but please do report back if its any good or not!

I'm sorry I have been running with my hair on fire at work so I haven't gotten a chance to post back here! A&J I have been adding it to the wash water at various strengths and to the detailer formula at pretty small amounts of 1/2 ounce or so. I like the way it makes the wipe-off really go quicker...just like it does as a pure drying agent. Leaves a great shine. One thing I have been doing once in a while is I will spray down my door jams with my home made concoction detailer and then dry them off using OS as a drying agent to wipe down the jams. Kind of keeps them sparkly clean and leaves behind a little protection at the same time.

Optimum loves all the creative ways users combine products, all you Mad Scientists. ONR with Wax came about due to the inventive curiousity of Opti-Fans, as well as tweaks to other products. This sounds like a good one...
