Opti lens yellow liquid?

Recommended Posts

I did 1 set of headlights about 2-3 years ago with opti lens. I was still new to using the coatings back then. The blue tip I had to throw away because I didn’t clean it out properly and it hardened.

Now im looking at the opti lens in the tube and it looks a slight tint of yellow as opposed to clear like water.

is the opti lens no good anymore?

want to upload a photo on iPhone to show you guys but I’m limited in upload size

Upload the photo through IMGUR.

If its in liquid form it may be ok, if its gel like its a good posibility its done for.

That's the score - if it's liquid in the syringe it's good (container can turn Opti-Lens yellow), but if it's gelled it's gotten moisture in the tube and is not good.

liquid still, no gel consistency. Just looks a bit tanned color. A shame about the color since I did keep it indoors and out of light too.

The plasticizer (don't ask what the is, a chemical term) in some syringes can turn some Coatings yellow - it does not effect the product.  You are good to go -
