Trekster
Hi guys, I've had some droppings that seem to have damaged clear coating and the opticoat. It has been treated with Opti-Coat Pro+ about 1.5 years ago. The droppings were removed withing 2-3 hours of the "dropping". Any ideas why this happened? see pictures: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtLXo4KY59DQjZ8YT5nyBM8ChjqsBQ?e=RpvDNS
Ron@Optimum
It's hard to tell from photos, but bird droppings should not etch Opti-Coat Pro. You should contact your installer for their assistance.

Also there is no beeding nor sheeting of water in the area... I have before been told from the installer that UV light will fix all of the issues(including bird dropping) has this any merrit to it? Ron@Optimum
UV is a powerful force and it can cause droppings and water spots to disappear on Coated cars as long as there's no etching.
