xrayos 0 Posted July 7 so, I just applied Gloss Coat to a black car in my garage. Temps are in the high 80's and humidity is about 50%. I did in the morning to minimize the heat and humidity. anyhow, this is not the first time I've applied gloss coat, but I noticed there was a slight haze about 10 mins after the initial flash and microfiber wipe to level the high spots. I had to wipe with moderate pressure to remove the haze. I suspect that had something to do with a black car and being able to see everything or the humidity. can one remove too much of gloss coat with the microfiber wipe? btw, this was applied on top of Suntek PPF. Ron@Optimum 131 Posted July 8 It may have been the humidity and you may have used too much product. With most Optimum products, streaking/hazing is due to too much product being applied.
