Used ONR today and......

I use a little more liquid as I typically use 2 buckets and about 4 gallons in total, but use recycled rain water for all of this, so am not too concerned with water use right now. Using a GS means that more gets carried back to the rinse bucket and 'lost' when you squeeze out the sponge and rinse it thoroughly. Its also soft water, so 2oz of ONR works fine for me. If really dirty then about 1L of normal wash strength ONR in a garden sprayer is my pre-soak.

I wish I had warm rain water but its like ice most of the time as the tanks are outdoors. I am trying to develop a simple solar type heater to allow me to have pre-warmed wash water, but so far havent got too far. Some black plastic piping that holds 4 gallons and can sit subtly out of sight but in the sunshine would be ideal - home made solar heater - is what i am after.....
